We offer video coverage of outdoor sports events and work closely with the event organizers to produce videos that showcase the action, excitement, and adventure that are making these sports one of the fastest growing sectors in the market. In the past two years we've covered paragliding at Tater Hill, the Burn 24 hour mountain biking race, the Hound Ears bouldering competition, the Blood, Sweat & Gears bike race, the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games, and the Dirty Bird Downhill Mountain biking series. Videos of these types of events are a great way to further the sponsor's presence in the event, provide the participants with a way to share their experiences with their friends and family, while at the same time helping to keep participants inspired for the next event. Generally, these types of videos record large numbers of viewers in a short period of time, often picking up a few thousand views in the first few months after the event.
Over the years we have worked with our friends to produce a few feature films that cover the sports we love. In 2006, we produced a 40 minute film about bouldering in the High Country that we called, The Obscurists. During the winter of 2010, a year that will go down in history as one of the worst winters ever, a group of dedicated skiers and snowboarders make the most of the snowy conditions and turn one of the worst winters, into one of the best.
We offer a press release writing service that helps get the word out about your upcoming event, grand opening, or launch of your new website. Eric Crews, a graduate of Appalachian State's English department, has been working as a freelance writer for more than five years. He has been published in a wide-range of outdoor sports publications, from Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine, to the High Country Magazine. He is currently writing a guide to Paddling North Carolina for Falcon Guides.
